Based on your recommendation, I had you install Yokohama tires on my RV in February, to replace the aged Michelins. Although I was hesitant at first as most were installing Toyo to replace the Michelins I am very happy with the Yokohama tires..
I am now back home in Canada with 1000 miles of highway driving on the Yokohama tires. Although road noise is very dependent on the type/quality of the pavement, I have generally noticed that the tires are much quieter than the old Michelins. The ride is smoother and there appears to be less rolling resistance. I am very frequently reducing my speed now as it is so easy to exceed my 65 mph towing speed limit now.
My diesel mechanic up here is not a fan of steering stabilizers and suggested I get the wheel alignment checked before making any modifications to try and fix minor wandering, and significant effects due to crosswinds. Although there are a couple of companies here that do wheel alignments on RVs, he did not feel they were reputable.
I noticed on your website that you now do HD wheel alignments. Do you feel that a wheel alignment check would be a good step in improving the steering. I won't ask you for a quote as I won't be back down in Phoenix until next winter (2018), however, I wouldn't mind a ballpark price.

Thanks for the tire recommendation and the great customer service.
I just wanted to say THANKS on suggesting that I get the rear tires balanced also while the coach was there. That was great suggestion. On the way home I found that I was traveling with the flow of traffic at 75 mph and had not encountered any shimmy or vibration and now have to remember to watch my speed. It is great for the first time in a long while that the motor home rode that smooth and comfortable.
Again thanks for a job well done.
Eric, Firebird completed the
work, just send me the invoice and I will have Tony Chacon, our Napa Rep, pay
it. Thank for the assistance, those guys from Firebird were outstanding.
Best service in the state, took care of my company trucks for years.
Fast service, great prices, friendly, 5 star experience all the way. If you need tires you really need to call and get a price quote. Family owned and operated, you feel like you are buying something from a relative. They had my tires and got me in and out in under 30 minutes.
Yesterday we had 6 tires replaced on our motorhome. Even though we were late in arriving they got us right in. The whole shop was very professional and Tom gladly answered all of our questions. They had the right tires in stock and my husband thinks it rides better. We're very particular where we take our coach to have work done and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Firebird Tire to anyone.
We were traveling through in our RV and were having problems with two tires. They took care of it promptly, reasonably and courteously. They even arranged to have someone come and service our generator. Tom at the front desk was great. Paul the owner took care of a minor glitch we had. I would absolutely recommend them and would use them in the future.
I just ran into to Firebird to see if they can help with some tires for a 1977 School bus...of course they could.
They gave me a heck of a deal and had it ready the next day.
Paul and his crew did a fantastic job going above and beyond with 6 new tires on our motorhome. It turns out the wheels were not standard wheels for a Workhorse Chassis and they logged many hours doing their best to give us the best ride. I would highly recommend them to anyone with an rv. Paul has 30 years experience and they specialize in recreational vehicles. We are very grateful to them and will never go anywhere else. They are simply the most knowledgeable and caring service center we have ever worked with.
Paul and the guys will do an outstanding job. Anything from RV's to rigs to cars and trucks. Always prompt, friendly and top quality work.
